Painting workshop held on a trek summit

Mysuru: A day-long trek-cum-painting workshop was organised by city-based Tiger Adventure Foundation and The Art House, Mysuru, at Kunti Betta in Pandavapura taluk recently. 

Painting workshop at the summit of the trek was the brainchild of the city doctor Dr. Gururaj Satyanarayan, who envisaged passion towards painting very recently and has been a passionate trekker.

There were more than 55 participants of all ages from 4 years to 50-plus from all the corners of the State like Davangere, Bengaluru, Mysuru and Kanakapura.

“Though we have organised many art camp in various places in city, this was the unique one for us and we wish to continue to do something different in the days to come which gives a totally natural environs for us and for the students to come out with the natural colours and to paint the nature in total,” said Richa Asaphal, Founder of The Art Home. 

The programme was co-ordinated by Dr. S. Gururaj of Tiger Adventure Foundation under the able guidance of PHF DSD Solanki, an ardent adventure enthusiast and Chairman of Tiger Adventure Foundation. 

The programme was ably assisted by volunteers from Tiger Adventure Foundation D. Nagesh Kumar, Charan Ashwath and G. Lohith of Mysuru.
