‘Pancha Garudotsava Sambhrama’ at Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple in city tomorrow

Mysore/Mysuru: For the first time, ‘Pancha Garudotsava Sambhrama’ has organised by Pancha Garudotsava Seva Samiti at Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple on Kalidasa road in city, on Feb.9.

This was disclosed by Samiti Treasurer H.V.L.N. Achar at a press conference held at Pathrakartara Bhavan on Thyagaraja Road in city recently.

“The Garuda Vahana idols of Sri Lakshmi Narasimhaswamy temple, Sri Lakshmi Venkataramanaswamy temple, Sri Srinivasa temple, Pustakam Santana Venugopalaswamy temple and Andal Mandira’s Sri Venugopalaswamy temple will take part in the Pancha Garuda Sambhrama,” he added.

At 12.30 pm on Feb.9, Yadugiri Yatiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar will inaugurate the rituals related to Pancha Garudotsava.

Krishnaraja MLA T.S. Srivatsa will inaugurate the cultural programmes. There will be a Bharatanatyam dance programme by Sukruti Venkataraman. The stage programme will be held from 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

After this, Pancha Garuda Sambhrama will be inaugurated in the presence of Srimadabhinava Vageesha Brahmatantra Swatantra  Parakala Swamiji.

Member of the Mysore royal family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, Yadugiri Yatiraja Narayana Ramanuja Jeeyar, Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji of Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy temple, Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, MLA K. Harishgowda, City Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth, former MLA S.A. Ramdas, former MUDA Chairman H.V. Rajeev, ex-Corporators Bhagya Mahadesh and Namrata Ramesh will attend.

K.R. Yoganarasimha, Pradeep, Lakshmeesh, Veeraraghavan and Nagamani Sampath were present at the press conference.
