Papers invited for two-day National Multi-Disciplinary Conference

Mysuru: The Department of History along with the Department of Humanities, in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology, Heritage and Museums, Mysuru, is organising a two-day Multi-Disciplinary National Conference on History and Social Sciences in the contemporary Global scenario at Teresian College, Siddarthanagar, Mysuru, from Jan. 23, 2020.

The conference concerns the growing need to meet the requirement of humanities as a whole. The conference aims to shed light on the various issues like: Administrative policies and Public response, Archaeology, Tourism, Culture and Heritage, Mental health of women and children, Colonial encounters, Decolonising language, Economic history and thought, Economics of the developing and the developed countries, Women empowerment, Marginalised groups, Tribal culture and problems, Global markets, Higher education and e-learning, History and subaltern studies, Human resource development and leadership, Hagiography, International peace and conflict resolution, International relations in the changing world, Emergence of regional powers, Democracy and civil society, Ethnic minorities, Popular culture and gender trouble, Religious and cultural studies and Transnationalism.
