Mysuru: The Mysuru City Traffic Police, who have initiated ‘Operation Wheel Lock’ on vehicles parked in ‘No Parking’ zones have booked 614 cases, have collected a total of Rs. 6.14 lakh fine from the owners of vehicles in 12 days.
The Government which hiked the fine from Rs. 100 to Rs. 1,000 had come into effect from July 20 and from July 20 to 31, 614 cases were booked in Devaraja, Krishnaraja, Narasimharaja, Siddarthanagar, V.V. Puram and Kuvempunagar Traffic Police limits and a total of Rs. 6.14 lakh fine from the vehicle owners.
