Parveen Taj (55), former Member, City Municipal Council and wife of Mohammed Peer (former Vice-President of City Municipal Council), passed away yesterday.
A resident of Lalchand Street in the town, she leaves behind her husband, two children and a host of relatives and friends.
Namaz-e-Janaza and burial took place at the Muslim Burial Grounds at Shabeer Nagar yesterday evening.
