Passenger dies in train

Mysuru: A 60-year-old elderly passenger, who was travelling from the city to Bengaluru in Mysuru-Bengaluru push-pull train yesterday, reportedly died of heart attack near Mandya.

The man, whose identity is yet to be established, suffered a heart attack even as the train was moving, following which other passengers attended to him. But he died, even before he was shifted to the hospital, it is learnt.

His body was taken in the train to Bengaluru Railway Station from where his body was shifted to Victoria Hospital mortuary.

Bengaluru Railway Police have registered a case in this regard.
