Patel Krishnappa (80), a resident of Kalkunike village passed away yesterday morning.
He leaves behind his wife, two daughters, two sons, brothers retired Shirestedar Govindappa and senior journalist Srinivas (‘Brother’) and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at his farm in Kalkunike yesterday evening, according to family sources.
