Sir,
Pathway for us, the usual walkers on Paramahamsa Road, Yadavagiri, is at last getting ready, thanks to our PM’s visit to Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala.
The road repairs being undertaken at breakneck pace have so many flaws: The height of the pavement is a nightmare for senior citizens to navigate, as one has to climb up and down at 3-4 places, at the Railway Officers Bungalow gateway.
The interlocking tiles are laid out on concrete bases and so there is no room for the rainwater to percolate. But the walls on KRS Road, opposite the Sri Lakshmi Venkataramanaswamy Temple, are very well done and look bright and catch the eye. Kudos to the artists!
And to all the labourers and drivers of the huge vehicles, a big salute for working long hours, along with the speeding, honking vehicular traffic on this busy road.
