These are difficult times and we need to see that our Governments are able to fulfil its duties towards its citizens.
At the same time we also have a duty to facilitate the Government to do so. This requires the Government to have money with it. That means collection of taxes.
As a step forward I suggest that all citizens of Mysuru can be given a bank account number of the MCC Commissioner wherein all property owners can pay the tax online from the comfort of their homes and the Government gets its taxes.
The amount can be paid just as last year’s and later, adjustments can be made if required.
This step is what is called for at the moment. It will ensure no unnecessary movement by the citizens and the Government gets its revenue. Hope, this suggestion will be considered.
