Ningaraju and Suresh of Chowdalli in H.D. Kote, who found a four-year-old peacock stuck in a fence and exhausted, rescued the peacock and handed it over to the Forest Department officials. The officials, who provided treatment to the peacock, later released it into Nagarahole Reserve Forest.
