Pedal for Democracy: Mega Cyclothon in city tomorrow

Mysuru: As part of its various voter awareness programmes, MCC in association with the SVEEP Committee, has organised ‘Pedal for Democracy,’ a Mega Cyclothon in city tomorrow.

Over 2,000 cyclists are expected to take part in the Cyclothon that will be flagged off at Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple at 7 am tomorrow. Former Cricketer Javagal Srinath, singer and SVEEP Committee Icon Sriharsha and actor Dhananjay will be the chief guests.

The participants will pedal over 7.50 kms covering K.R. Circle, Sayyaji Rao Road, Ayurveda Circle, Railway Station Circle, JLB Road, Metropole Circle, Vinoba Road, KR Boulevard, M.G. Road, Vani Vilas, Agrahara Circle, Sanskrit Pathashala, Basaveshwara Circle, Hardinge Circle, Albert Victor Road and reach Town Hall.

MCC Commissioner Shilpa Nag has, in a press release, requested citizens to take part in large numbers.
