Pemmanda M. Ganapathy (78), a resident of Ramakrishnanagar, passed away yesterday at his residence here.

He leaves behind two daughters, two sisters and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill here this noon, according to family sources.
