Penor Rinpoche Charity Foundation donates Rs.10,00,000 to CM’s Relief Fund

The Chief of Namdroling Monastery (the Golden Temple), Gyang Khang Tulku Rinpoche and Tsering Choedhar, Managing Trustee of Penor Rinpoche Charity Foundation handing over the cheque to Mysuru District in-charge Minister V. Somanna yesterday as MP Pratap Simha and SP C.B. Ryshyanth look on.

Mysuru/Bylakuppe:  The current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic that is infecting and killing thousands of lives in the world is very disheartening. The Chief of Namdroling Monastery (the Golden Temple), Gyang Khang Tulku Rinpoche and Mugsang Kuchen Rinpoche, along with all the monks and nuns, have extend their deepest gratitude to the Prime Minister of India and the Central and State Governments for working day and night taking every possible precautionary measure to protect the people. 

The selfless healthcare workers who are endangering themselves for the benefit of others, working tirelessly every day are truly the real heroes, they said in a press release and thanked them for their sacrifices in the fight against the spread of  COVID-19. 

As a gesture of utmost appreciation and to support the hard work and dedication of the respective State Governments in striving hard to stop the spread of this virus and to provide state-of-the-art medical treatment,  they donated Rs.10,00,000 (ten lakh) to CM’s Relief Fund in order to sustain the noble cause of providing accessible health service to all, according to a press release from Bylakuppe’s Penor Rinpoche Charity Foundation Managing Trustee.
