Mysuru: PGL Samsmarana Vedike, Mysuru, has organised two-day Karnatak Classical Music Programme at Mysore K. Vasudevacharya Bhavana, Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha, JLB Road, Mysuru, at 6 pm on Dec. 13 and 14, in memory of Ganakalabhushana Vid. P.G. Laksminarayana (PGL), an eminent percussion artiste and able guru, who was instrumental in guiding many of the present percussion artistes of Mysuru.

On Dec. 13, senior musician, scholar, guru and former Principal of the University of Mysore Fine Arts College, Vidu. Dr. R.N. Srilatha will be felicitated by the Vedike and later she will present a vocal concert. Vid. Vishwajith Mattur, Vid. G.S. Ramanujan and Vid. V.S. Ramesh will provide instrumental support on violin, mridanga and morching respectively. 

On Dec. 14, Vid. Amith Nadig, one of the most promising young flautists, will render a flute concert, with Vid. Vaibhav Ramani on violin, Vid. A. Radhesh on mridanga and Vid. Shrinidhi R. Koundinya on ghata.
