University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Genetics to Dr. D.R. Mahadeshwara Prasad for his thesis ‘Cellular and Genotoxicity of Diesel Combustion Nanoparticles in Humans’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. S.S. Malini.

Ashwini Ramesh has been awarded Ph.D in Communication and Journalism by the UoM for her thesis ‘A Comparison of Media Frames in Print and Television News: An Analysis of Major Political News Events in India’ [Guide: Dr. N. Usha Rani].

R. Swapna Sonale has been awarded Ph.D in Chemistry by the UoM for her thesis ‘Characterisation of Bioactive Compounds from Neem (Azadirachta indica A. Juss) Obtained by Supercritical Fluid Carbon dioxide  process’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. K. Ramalakshmi.

Maryam Anbarsouz has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the UoM for her thesis ‘Impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICTS) on the Banking Sector in India: A Case Study of Karnataka’ [Guide: Dr. M. Indira].

B.M. Indrukumar has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the UoM for his thesis ‘An Empirical Study of Household Expenditure on Higher Education in Karnataka’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. M. Indira.
