Ph.D awardees

Mysore/Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Computer Science to Pedakolmi Venkateswarlu for his thesis ‘Spectral Domain Characterisation of Genome Sequences’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. E.G. Rajan.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, has awarded Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to N. Jagadisha for his thesis ‘Electrical Discharge Plasma Based Techniques for Abatement of Volatile Organic Compounds and Industrial Pollutants’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. A.D. Srinivasan.

P. Kiran Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Chemistry by VTU for his thesis ‘Synthesis and Characterisation of Metal Oxide Nanoparticles as Antifungal and Antibacterial Agents’ [Guide: Dr. N.D. Dinesh].

K.V. Madhusudhan has been awarded Ph.D in Mathematics by VTU for his thesis ‘An Expedition to New Frontiers of Signed Graphs and Related Topics’ [Guide: Dr. K.R. Rajanna].

K.V. Sudheesh has been awarded Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineering by the VTU for his thesis ‘Some Techniques for Abnormality Detection in Biomedical Images’ [Guide: Dr. L. Basavaraj].

B. Jagadeesh has been awarded Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics and Communication Engineering by the VTU, Belagavi for his thesis ‘An Approach for Detecting Video Events and Action Recognition’ submitted under the guidance of  Dr. Chandrashekar M. Patil.
