B.S. Gowrishankar has been awarded Ph.D in Computer and Information Science by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU),  Belagavi, for his thesis ‘Automatic Transcription for South Indian Music (ATSIM)’ submitted under the guidance of      Dr. U. Nagappa.

L.R. Raghavendra has been awarded Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Sciences by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU),  Belagavi, for his thesis ‘Optimal Hybrid Approach for Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio Network’ submitted under the guidance of  Dr. R.C. Manjunatha.
