Mysuru:  The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Linguistics to Maryam Fouladi for her thesis “A Study on the Role of ESL Learners’ Critical Thinking Ability in their Performance on Different IELTS Reading Items” submitted under the guidance of Dr. R. Ramakrishna.

D.S. Krishna has been awarded Ph.D in Social Work by the UoM for his thesis “A Study of Hindu Religious Maths in Bangalore City” submitted under the guidance of Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda.

Anantha Gowda has been awarded Ph.D in Social Work by the UoM for his thesis “A Study on Employee Engagement Practices” (With Special Reference to IT and Manufacturing Industries of Bangalore and Mysore Regions) submitted under the guidance of Dr. Y.S. Siddegowda.

S. Goutham has been awarded Ph.D in Biochemistry by the UoM for his thesis “Unravelling the Biology of Sperm Storage in the Oviduct of the Indian Garden Lizard, Calotes Versicolor” submitted under the guidance of Dr. K. Gopal Marathe.

P. Naveen Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Electronics by the UoM for his thesis “Design and performance Evaluation of Slot loaded Microstrip Antenna for Various Applications” submitted under the guidance of Dr. S. Chandramma.

Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, has awarded Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering Science to N. Shamala for her thesis “Real Time Implementation of Active Filter for Harmonic Suppression in Distribution System” submitted under the guidance of Dr. C. Lakshminarayana.
