Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Electronics to M.C. Rajalakshmi for her thesis ‘Multilevel Optimisation and Efficient Power Comprehensive Scheme for Enhancing Lifetime of large Scale Wireless Sensor Network’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. A.P. Gnanaprakash.

B.R. Nandini has been awarded Ph.D in Kannada by the UoM for her thesis ‘Nanjangud Srikantashastri avara Natakagalu’ [Guide: Dr. B.P. Ashakumari].

N. Shivananda has been awarded Ph.D in Ancient History and Archaeology by the UoM for his thesis ‘Thuruvekere Talukina Devalayagala Kale Mattu Vasthushilpa – Ondu Vivaranatmaka Adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. G. Kariyappa].

H.C. Ramesha has been awarded Ph.D in Economics by the UoM for his thesis ‘Public Investment and Agricultural Development in India: With Special Reference to Karnataka’ [Guide: Dr. K.C. Basavaraju].

H.S. Ganesh Murthy has been awarded Ph.D in Sanskrit by the UoM for his thesis ‘Ramayanadalli Swamynishte – Vimarshatmaka Adhyayana’ [Guide: Dr. S. Shivarajappa].

The Bharathidasan University has awarded Ph.D in Library and Information Science to R. Harish for his thesis ‘A Study on Use of Open Access Journals among Faculty Members of Engineering Colleges in Mysore City’ [Guide: Dr. V. Geetha].
