K.B. Poornima has been awarded Ph.D in English by the UoM for her thesis titled ‘Interrogating Ecofeminism in the Select Novels of Anita Desai, Namita Gokhale, Kiran Desai and Anuradha Roy’ [Guide: Dr. C. Naganna].

Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras, has awarded Ph.D in Hindi to A.S. Sowmya for her thesis titled ‘K. Shivaprasad Simha Katha Sahitya ka Samaj Shastriya Adhyayan’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Amarjyothi.
