D. Arun Kumar has been awarded Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering Science by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, for his thesis ‘The feasibility study for the implementation of some of the advanced manufacturing tools in small and medium scale engineering industries (Sme and Msme) in and around Mysore’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. V. Ramesh.

G. Shruthi has been awarded Ph.D in Life Science by JSS Academy of higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) for her thesis ‘Bacterial ATP synthesis as a target for the treatment of leptospirosis’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. Chandan Shivamallu.

H.J. Boraiah has been awarded Ph.D in History by Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, for his theses ‘Huliyurudurga – Ondu Aitihasika Adhyayana’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. KLN Murthy.

R. Chandrakanth has been awarded Ph.D in Molecular Biology by University of Mysore (UoM) for his thesis “Characterisation and DNA Methylation Analysis of Rice Blast Resistance Genes” submitted under the guidance of Dr. N.S. Devaki.
