The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Economics and Co-operation to R.S. Renuka for her thesis ‘An Economic Analysis of Women Co-operative Banks in Karnataka: A comparative study of Mysuru and Mandya Districts’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. A.R. Viswanatha.

S. Manjunatha has been awarded Ph.D in Economics and Co-operation by the UoM for his thesis ‘Cost-Benefit Analysis of Optimum Currency Area for SAARC Nations’ [Guide: Dr. M. Mahesha].

K. Shivakumara Reddy has been awarded Ph.D in Economics and Co-operation by the UoM for his thesis ‘An analysis of the Efficiency of Panchayat Raj Institutions in Karnataka’ [Guide: Dr. M. Indira].

Prapulla Malladi has been awarded Ph.D in Economics and Co-operation by the UoM for her thesis ‘An Analysis of the Impact of Trade Liberalisation on Coffee Sector in India’ [Guide: Dr. M. Indira].

G.M. Ravisha has been awarded Ph.D in Geography by the UoM for his thesis ‘Changing Demographic Structure of Hassan District: A Geographical Perspective’ [Guide: Dr. H. Nagaraj].

N. Neelaiah has been awarded Ph.D in Ancient History and Archaeology by the UoM for his thesis ‘Holenarasipura Talukina Devalayagala Kale Mattu Vastushilpa – Ondu Vivaranatmaka Adhyayana (Arambhada Kaladinda Vijayanagaradavarege)’ [Guide: Dr. K. Prabhu].
