The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Economics to S. Siddesha for his thesis ‘Devaluation and Balance of Trade: A Study of J-Curve Effect in India Since Liberalisation’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. H.R. Uma.

S. Brijesh Singh has been awarded Ph.D in Biotechnology by the UoM for his thesis ‘Mechanism involved in 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylic acid-deaminase producing rhizobacteria mediated suppression of abiotic stress in Sunflower’ [Guide: Dr. S.R. Niranjana].

S. Shakuntala has been awarded Ph.D in Biochemistry by the UoM for her thesis ‘Pectic oligosaccharides derived from germinated chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) Structure – function relationship’ [Guide: Dr. K.V. Harish Prashanth].

Tumkur University has awarded Ph.D in Management to N. Ramaprakasha for his thesis ‘Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives of selected companies in Karnataka on people, planet and profit’ [Guide: Dr. Y. Rajaram].
