Mysuru: The  University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D in Commerce to  T. Someshwari for her thesis ‘Impact of accounting for price-level changes on Corporate Financial Statements’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. B. Mahadevappa.

M.N. Ramya has been awarded Ph.D in Sericulture Science for her thesis ‘Biochemical changes in relation to growth and longevity of pupal and adult stages of selected voltine groups of the silkworm, Bombyx Mori L.’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. T.S. Jagadeesh Kumar.

Dravidian University, Kuppam, has awarded Ph.D in English to N. Shobhalatha of Mysuru for her thesis ‘Philosphical Concerns in Raja Rao’s Fiction — A Critical Study’ submitted under the guidance of Dr. V.R. Badiger. Presently, she is working as Assistant Professor at Government First Grade College in Kuvempunagar.
