Mysuru: The University of Mysore (UoM) has awarded Ph.D degree in Anthropology to K. Shivakumar, Principal Correspondent, The New Indian Express, Mysuru, for his thesis titled ‘Post-Veerappan Era: A study of the Socio-Economic and Communication Development in Chamarajanagar District, Karnataka.’ He worked under the guidance of Dr. M.R. Gangadhar.
