Mysore/Mysuru: Farooqia College of Pharmacy recently conducted an orientation programme for the students of D.Pharm, B.Pharm, Pharm.D & Pharm.D (PB) for the academic year 2021-22. 

Chief guest Dr. M.D. Karvekar, Professor Emeritus of RGUHS, highlighted the various opportunities that are available in India and abroad for pharmacists. 

He encouraged students to face challenges with confidence as their role is going to be vital and bigger in the field of medicine. 

Taj Mohammed Khan, Hon. Secretary of Farooqia Educational institutions, asked the students to do more research and bring name and fame to the country and the college. 

Dr. M.P Bhagat, Principal of Farooqia College of Pharmacy, also addressed the students. 

On the occasion, a textbook titled “Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry ” written by Dr. M.P Bhagat and published by Blue Rose Publishers, New Delhi, was released. Meritorious students were feted with mementoes and certificates. 

The programme started with the recitation of Quran Verses by Thareek, student of 2nd D.Pharm.  Nisar Ahmed, Associate Professor, proposed a vote of thanks. Later students performed skit and cultural events.
