Pharmacists appeal for vaccine prioritisation

May 23, 2021

Suvarna Karnataka Chemists and Distributors Association has appealed the Government to prioritise vaccination of all those engaged in the Pharmacy supplies and distribution system. In a memorandum, the Association said that it is regretful to note that the Government has ignored the staff engaged in Wholesale and Retail pharmacy supplies and distribution in the prioritisation of vaccination. Pharmacy staff are closely engaged with members of the public, and with close physical contacts, the pharmacy staff are always exposed to the risk of contracting the deadly COVID virus.
