Mysuru: A gang of six persons, in a bid to get the shop vacated, allegedly threatened and abused the owner of a photocopy shop besides assaulting him.
The incident took place at Shankar Enterprises photocopy shop on Basaveshwara Road in Veeranagere here recently.
The owner of the shop who was reportedly assaulted is 33-year-old Shankar Murthy.
In his complaint, Shankar has stated that on July 2 at about 11.53 am, one Bhaskar sent a woman to his shop to create ruckus following which one Bheema, who came to the shop along with a gang of six persons indulged in a wordy duel and abused him (Shankar Murthy) using foul language.
Sharkar has further stated in the complaint that at about 3.50 pm on the same day, Bhaskar, who came to the shop along with the gang of six persons led by Bheema, began to abuse him (Shankar Murthy) using foul language besides creating ruckus in front of the shop and also abused women employees using foul language.
Based on the complaint from Shankar Murthy, Lashkar Police have registered a case and are investigating.
