Plaint against Minister Ramesh Kumar in ACB

Mandya: An RTI activist has lodged a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) against Health Minister Ramesh Kumar, Nagamangala MLA Cheluvarayaswamy and three officials accusing them of misuse of power and indulging in corruption.

RTI activst K.R. Ravindra, in his complaint to the ACB Police, alleged that Minister Ramesh Kumar, MLA Cheluvarayaswamy, IAS Officer Shalini Rajneesh, Under Secretary to the State Government Narasimharaju and Mandya DHO Dr. K. Mohan, had indulged in massive corruption in the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The complaint also said that Ramesh Kumar and Cheluvarayaswamy, who himself was a former Health Minister along with officials Shalini Rajneesh and Narasimharaju, had misused their power in promoting Dr. K. Mohan, who is the nephew of Cheluvarayaswamy, as DHO, while ignoring the seniority and claims of other aspirants.
