Heaps of garbage dumped near Udayagiri Police Station on Mahadevapura Road is not cleared since many days resulting in disease-spreading flies accumulating on the pile. This apart, the garbage is emanating foul smell forcing people to cover their nose while passing on the stretch. Authorities concerned are urged to take steps to get the garbage cleared at the earliest and also instruct the garbage collectors to clear the same regularly.
