Just now I saw a complete video of Vishwamanava Double Road done by a concerned citizen. The road is so beautiful and it appears, the authorities are planning to do white-topping over this excellent road with very smooth, tiled footpaths !
Moreover many plants could be found on either side of the road. Is this not sheer foolishness on the part of the authorities? This plan should be stopped immediately.
There are many roads and bylanes in our city which needs immediate repairs and tarring, leave alone white-topping!
In my earlier letters too I have mentioned about this matter and the authorities keep a deaf ear!
This is my earnest request to the Bogadi Town Panchayat to follow up this and have an inspection of the layouts here like Bank Employees Colony, Railways Layout, Bapuji Layout and so on.
From the past 25 to 30 years these layouts remain in this pathetic condition. It is very difficult to commute and we residents are deeply disgusted! When this is the condition of many interior roads, what is the point of wasting money and energy by putting white-topping over already existing good roads?
