Mysuru:  A plumber, who had fallen down from the under construction District Hospital building in Metagalli here while working there and suffered serious head injuries, passed away yesterday at NIMHANS Hospital in Bengaluru.

The deceased plumber is Mohan Kumar (30), a resident of Kumbarakoppal in city.

On Feb. 4, Mohan was doing plumbing works at the under construction District Hospital in ED Hospital premises at Metagalli here, when he fell down at about 4 pm from the second floor.

Mohan, was rushed to K.R. Hospital, where he was treated initially and was later admitted in an ICU at NIMHANS in Bengaluru where he breathed his last yesterday evening, according to Metagalli Police, who have registered a case in this regard.

Police also said that Mohan’s wife Shilpa has lodged a complaint stating that her husband Mohan slipped and fell from the building as there were no safety measures provided which resulted in his death.
