Ply exclusive KSRTC bus services on Ring Road

August 9, 2024

Sir,

Apropos the news item titled ‘16 KSRTC buses to connect Ring Road’ in Star of Mysore dated Aug. 4, it is heartening to note that the KSRTC authorities have finally woken up to the needs of the public.

I fervently hope they will also wake up to the pressing needs of an exclusive Ring Road bus service in the clockwise and anti-clockwise directions. All these buses should terminate at the starting point.

To start with, the KSRTC authorities can introduce buses from and to Manipal Hospital Junction, KRS Road, Bharat Cancer Hospital, Hinkal Flyover, Bogadi Junction, University Layout, Nanjangud Road, Bannur Road and any other suitable points. In due course of time, this will prove to be as useful and important as the feeder services they are planning to start.
