Birth Centenary of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji in 2031
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji of Sri Pejawar Adhokshaja Mutt, Udupi, unveiled the logo of the Birth Centenary celebrations of the late Pejawar Mutt Seer Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji, here yesterday.
The Birth Centenary of late Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji will be held in 2031 and the present Seer has undertaken a five-year plan wherein all the activities and projects of Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji will be given further boost.
With only a few days left for the conclusion of the historic Indraprastha Chaturmasya Vrata, Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji met the Prime Minister at his residence and felicitated him by adorning him with a Yakshagana royal crown and presenting a shawl, a gold-plated idol of Kaliya Krishna along with fruits and Mantrakshate.

After enquiring about each other’s well-being, the Swamiji also blessed the PM and gave him the Prasadam of Purna Navagraha Homa and Rashtra Sukta Homa performed last week at Vedavyasa Gurukula, the main office of the Pejawar Mutt in Delhi.
PM Modi, speaking to the small delegation, said: “The contributions made by Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji and Pejawar Mutt to society are always inspirational” and even gave some suggestion for the Centenary celebrations.

The PM suggested that since there was a very deep relationship between Udupi and Dwarka, the Pejawar Mutt should also include Dwarka in the Birth Centenary celebration plan.
