PMKSY Scheme inaugurated at RUDSET Institute

Mysuru: Dr. M. Mahanteshappa, Joint Director, Department of Agriculture, Mysuru, inaugurated the Income Generation Programme under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sichai Yojane (PMKSY) scheme at RUDSETI, Mysuru.

The PMKSY scheme is aimed at creating Income Generation Activities at Mysuru district for the land labourers, small and micro farmers of Mysuru, Periyapatna, H.D. Kote and Hunsur taluks where the rainfall is very low.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Mahanteshppa highlighted the scheme and informed that the farmers and SHG members present in these taluks will be benefitted by taking-up self employment through RUDSETI.

The Government has made due provisions for taking-up of the self employment to the stakeholders of the area through RUDSETI.

N.G. Lakshman Rao, Director, RUDSETI, in his presidential address, thanked the Department for instilling confidence in RUDSETI.

Nagendra, Pushpalatha, Assistant Directors, Department of Agriculture, Mysuru, Watershed Assistants, Data Entry Operators, SHG members and RUDSETI staff were present on the occasion.
