Mysuru: Mysore Open Forum (MOF) has organised a Book Launch & Book Talk of the book ‘Poles Apart,’ authored by Dr. Aditya Sondhi, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, at 10 am tomorrow (Feb. 16) at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, 581/1, Vijayanagar 4th Stage, 1st Phase, Mysuru.

Dr. Aditya Sondhi specialises in Constitutional and Criminal Law. He has served as Additional Advocate General for Karnataka from April 2016 to April 2018 and has been appointed Amicus Curiae in several matters of public importance.

Dr. Sondhi graduated from the National Law School where he is a Visiting Faculty. He has taught Constitutional Law, Arbitration and Professional Ethics as also a credit course on ‘Courts and National Security.’

He holds a Ph.D degree from the University of Mysore under the guidance of Prof. Muzaffar Assadi. He has contributed a chapter on Elections to ‘The Oxford Handbook of the Indian Constitution.’ A TEDx Speaker, he has lectured widely across the country and abroad.

Dr. Sondhi’s book ‘Poles Apart’ is a comparative study of the Military and Democracy in India and Pakistan. Ravi Joshi, Convenor of MOF, will be in discussion with the author and also share about his visit to Pakistan and interaction with top officials in Islamabad. The talk is open to all.
