“Aarakshaka Kalpavruksha,” a subsidised canteen facility to Policemen, was inaugurated in city this morning by Karnataka Police Academy (KPA) Director Vipul Kumar. City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subramanyeshwara Rao, Superintendent of Police Ravi D. Channannavar were present. The canteen will function from District Armed Reserve Grounds at Jyothinagar. Apart from supplying subsidised food, there are facilities for Policemen to purchase daily home needs including vegetables at subsidised rates.
