Mysuru: A Policeman from Vijayanagar Police Station has been deployed near the ward in Apollo BGS Hospital since Friday morning where techie Prajwal has been admitted. The Police are guarding the ward 24×7.
Prajwal had killed his wife Savitha (38) and daughter Sinchana (10) on May 23 before attempting suicide at his house in Vijayanagar on May 24.
N.R. Sub-Division ACP C. Gopal said that they would seek the opinion of the doctors treating Prajwal today or on Monday and take him (Prajwal) into custody.
He further said that murder case has been registered against Prajwal and as he (Prajwal) is admitted in the hospital he has not been arrested.
Meanwhile, the bodies of Prajwal’s wife and daughter were handed over to their family members after the post-mortem was performed.
