Shivamogga: A Police Head Constable was found hanging at Shivamogga West Traffic Police Station toilet yesterday.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Zakaria (55). He is survived by his wife and three children. A death note was found by his body, Police said. Zakaria was on leave for a month and returned to duty two days ago. Zakaria, who was on the night shift on Thursday, returned to the Police Station around 4.30 am after the city rounds. The staff members noticed his body around 6 am and informed senior officers and his family members, Police informed. 

In the death note, Zakaria is said to have alleged harassment from his colleague and has mentioned the name. A case has been registered at Doddapete Police Station.
