Police hold Auto Consultants meet

Mysuru: The Narasimharaja Traffic Police held a meeting of Auto Consultants, who have their business on Sawday Road and Mission Hospital Road, coming under their limits, on Thursday.

The Police asked the Consultants to follow traffic rules and not to park the vehicles meant for selling on the roads. In case they park the vehicles on the footpaths and roads causing inconvenience to the pedestrians and the motorists, then the towing vehicle will tow away the vehicles and fines will be imposed, Police said.

The vehicles should be parked strictly following the odd and even date rules. The public must follow road rules and help the Police in the smooth flow of traffic. The Police warned that if they violate the traffic rules then stringent action will be taken against them.

The meeting was held under the direction of DCP (Traffic) Dr. Vikram V. Amathe and ACP (Traffic) K.N. Madaiah. N.R. Traffic Inspector Jayakumar chaired the meeting, according to press release from the Public Relations Officer, Police Commissioner’s Office.
