Police sensitise students on traffic rules

Mysuru: The students of SBRR Mahajana First Grade College at Jayalakshmipuram were sensitised on various traffic rules, penalties to be paid for violation of rules and also about various equipment used for detecting drunk-driving, breath analyser, reflectors, blinkers, cat eyes, etc. at the weekly assembly in the College premises recently.

The sensitisation programme was conducted by V.V. Puram Traffic Police led by Inspector B.G. Prakash.

Speaking on the occasion, Inspector Prakash highlighted about the accidents caused by violating traffic rules and the importance of rushing an accident victim to hospital without wasting time by taking pictures and making videos on mobile phones.

College Principal Dr. S. Venkataramu, Kannada Lecturer Jayakumari, NSS Programme Officers Dr. A.J. Dharmesh, Y.R. Rudresh, Keshavamurthy, K. Raghavendra, Madhusudhan and others were present.
