Mysuru: In a major surgery to the Police Department, the State Govt. on Thursday transferred 37 Dy.SPs and 121 Police Inspectors across the State.
As far as Mysuru City is concerned, Dy.SP B.R. Lingappa who was serving at the Southern Range IGP’s office has been posted as CCB ACP in place of C. Gopal who has been transferred and posted to the IGP’s office.
Likewise, Devaraja Sub-Division ACP B.S. Rajashekar has been posted to DCRE while ACB Dy.SP G.S. Gajendra Prasad has been posted as the new Devaraja Sub-Division ACP, N.R. ACP Umesh G. Shet has been transferred to ACB and Lokayukta Dy.SP M. Jagadish has been posted as new N.R. Sub-Division ACP.
ACP C.T. Jayakumar who was serving at Belagavi has been transferred and posted as Chamarajanagar Sub-division Dy.SP, while Mysuru DCRE Dy.SP Yashwant Savarkar has been shifted to DCRB.
In other Police transfers, B.G. Prakash has been appointed as the new Jayalakshmipuram Police Station inspector, while K.M. Manju has been posted as Alanahalli inspector in place of G. Shekar who has been transferred to DCB at Maidkeri, Abdul Karim as Mysuru South Police Inspector, B. Basavaraju as the new Manadakalli Airport Security Inspector and H.N Balakrishna as new Gundlupet Circle Police Inspector.
