Poll run-up: State Congress in-charge meets H-K leaders

Bengaluru,: AICC General Secretary in-charge of Karnataka K.C. Venugopal, who is holding interaction with district level party leaders with an objective of ensuring better interaction between the party and the Government since yesterday, today began interaction with Congress leaders from Hyderabad-Karnataka (H-K) region in the State capital.

The District in-charge Minister, the Party Legislators and the Party President of each of the 6 districts coming under Hyderabad-Karnataka region — Bidar, Kalaburagi, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal and Ballari, are meeting Venugopal, CM Siddharamaiah and KPCC President Dr. G. Parameshwara at the KPCC office on Queen’s Road.

On the first day yesterday, the Congress top brass held interaction with leaders from each of the 7 districts coming under Mumbai-Karnataka region.

The meetings, scheduled to continue for the next couple of days, is part of an exercise taken up by the Congress to prepare itself for the 2018 Assembly polls.
