Poll strategy unfolds at private resort

H.D.Kote: Amid a busy election schedule, even before the commencement of the nomination filing process for Congress candidates, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has chosen to reside at a private resort nestled in the backwaters of Kabini River in H.D. Kote taluk for three days.

During this time, he will be conducting election strategy meetings with his trusted aides.

Having concluded meetings with party workers and leaders at a private hotel in Mysuru until the previous evening, the CM, accompanied by District Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa, Animal Husbandry Minister K. Venkatesh, Chairman of Karnataka Jungle and Resorts Anil Chikkamadu, former MLAs Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah and H.P. Manjunath, proceeded to the Resort.

Upon their arrival, the CM and his entourage embarked on a boat journey to the resort, where they received a warm welcome from the management  and staff.

It has been reported that during his stay, the Chief Minister has not allocated time for meetings with any other party leaders or workers besides his close aides. This development has left local party members and leaders disheartened. The outcome of the CM’s meeting with trusted aides is, however, a secret.
