Ponnaswamy Modaliyar (85), Vice-President of Mysuru Karaga Temple Administrative Board and a resident of Ittigegud, passed away yesterday. He had also served as the Vice-President of District Modaliyar Association. He leaves behind four sons, four daughters and a host of relatives. Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill this afternoon.
