The MCC online tax payment site is very difficult to navigate. Only by knowing PID, it is easy to retrieve data. First time online tax-payers have to struggle a lot as they have to search using the Ward number plus property number.
Lot of people would not know what is the Ward No., especially those who are having property in Mysuru and living somewhere else. Please see the site where we have to select a Ward, it is only numbers 1,2,3 with a counter and no information about the Ward itself.
On Google, one has to search for the Ward for the corresponding location and then select the property number to get the PID details. This has to be streamlined. One should be able to register with user name and password and should have all the properties listed against the user account. He should be able to select all the properties and pay for them in one shot.
Even with apps like Paytm or PhonePay, users should be able to pay the tax. Advantage would be that as soon as the new tax is generated, these apps will remind the users and at the click of a button on the cellphone, one will be able to pay the tax without much hassle. This will improve the revenue of MCC too.
