The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Mysuru has invited online applications from eligible Backward Community students belonging to SC/ST and Categories- 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B for admission to Pre-Matric Boys and Girls Student Hostels run by the Department in Mysuru district and taluk. The annual income of the parents should be below Rs. 1 lakh for Category-1 and SC/ ST candidates while for Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other backward classes it must be not more than Rs. 44,500.

Hunsur Taluk: The Backward Classes Welfare Department, Hunsur taluk, too has invited online applications from eligible Backward Community students for admission to Pre-Matric Boys and Girls Student Hostels run by the Department in Hunsur taluk. Students studying between 5th and 10th std are eligible to apply. Eligible candidates must apply online by logging on to https://bcwd.karnataka.gov.in/english before June 30.
