The District Officer of the Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD), Mysuru, has invited online applications for admission to its post-matric hostels. Similarly, the Backward Classes Welfare Department (BCWD), K.R. Nagar and Saligrama taluk too have invited online applications for admission to its post-matric hostel from students studying degree courses.Students belonging to Cate-gory-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B, Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Sche-duled Tribe (ST) and other com-munities are eligible to apply. The annual income of the family of the candidates belonging to Category-1 should be below Rs. 2.5 lakh while for Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B and other backward classes must be not more than Rs. 1 lakh.
