The Department of Social Welfare has invited applications from SC students who have secured first class in the following exams in their first attempt (2019-20) to distribute scholarships. Scholarship of Rs. 20,000 will be given to those who have secured first class in second PUC or 3-year Polytechnic, Diploma, Rs. 25,000 for Graduate students, Rs. 30,000 for Post-Graduate students and Rs. 35,000 for Agriculture, Engineering, Veterinary Sciences and Medical students. Interested candidates may download the application from the department’s website – www.sw.kar.nic.in and submit the filled-in application along with relevant documents before Nov. 30 or at the Office of Assistant Director of Social Welfare or Social Welfare Department Office.
