Mysore/Mysuru: The Department of Posts, Karnataka Postal Circle, has organised Mysuru Marathon, as part of National Postal Week, in city on Oct. 26.

The event will be conducted in four categories — Full Marathon (42.2-km), Half-Marathon (21.1-km), 10K (10-km) and 5K (5-km) Fun Run.

The marathon will start at the Postal Training Centre in Nazarbad and end at the same venue. Full Marathon will start at 4.30 am, Half-Marathon at 5.30 am, 10K Run at 5.30 am and 5k Run will begin at 7.30 am.

Registration fee is Rs. 2,500, Rs. 2,000, Rs. 1,500 and Rs. 1,000 respectively and those who register their names before Aug. 31 can do so with a discounted fee of Rs. 1,250, Rs. 950, Rs. 750 and Rs. 350 respectively, added Prakash.
